JOB DESCRIPTION:
Join our team to support the development and testing of next-generation industrial control products (PLCs, communication devices).
As a Senior Hardware Technician, you will play a critical role in developing and testing next-generation industrial control products, including Programmable Logic Controllers and communication devices. You’ll work hands-on with electronic prototypes, performing board-level analysis, troubleshooting, and PCBA rework to ensure product quality and reliability.
This hands-on role involves hardware prototyping, board-level troubleshooting, PCBA rework, and product compliance testing (CE, UL, TUV). You’ll collaborate in an agile environment, work with advanced test equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement backed by strong mentorship and growth opportunities.
Ideal fit:
• Associate’s degree in Electronics (or equivalent)
• 5 years of electronics test/debug & SMT rework (preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting skills (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers)
• Programming experience in Python and/or C with a passion for outside-the-box thinking to leverage these tools in automated test applications within hardware development
• Ability to perform board level rework and modifications for Surface Mount Technology (SMT) designs (e.g., soldering, component replacement, trace cuts & adds)
• Experience with compliance testing, schematics, and agile teams
• Passion for learning, teamwork, and quality
