The Project Cost Controller I plays a crucial role in tracking and managing the costs associated with one or more projects within the organization. This position involves supporting the primary project cost controller and may sometimes operate independently with management oversight. The Project Cost Controller I is responsible for various tasks related to cost control, including invoice and contractor time-and-material (T&M) ticket review, tracking, administering project change control documentation, and data entry for reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review and track project invoices to ensure accurate billing and cost reporting.
- Monitor and track contractor T&M tickets and provide necessary updates.
- Administer project change control documentation to maintain cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Input data for miscellaneous reporting activities related to project costs.
- Assist in preparing project cost reports and documentation for management review.
- Support the primary project cost controller by handling day-to-day cost control tasks and ensuring tasks are completed on time.
- Prioritize tasks and manage workloads to meet deadlines.
- Maintain clear and concise written and verbal communication with team members and management.
