What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staffing Coordinator position at TPI Staffing Service, Inc.?
Interview and screen candidates to ensure backgrounds will fit with existing or upcoming assignments. Coordinate interview process with appropriate parties.
Essential Functions:
· Responsible for interviewing, testing, and referring applicants for clerical, technical, general labor, administrative and management positions throughout TPI’s clients.
· Test and screen employees on a need basis for the clients of TPI.
· Perform background reference investigation, i.e., prior employment references, transcripts, etc. to gain adequate information for decision making.
· Conduct drug testing and screen employees on a need basis for the clients of TPI.
· Maintain and update all employee applications and job orders.
· Ensure all documentation is received and completed when placing applicants on an assignment.
· Make arrival calls to assure that employees have arrived on the job.
· Communicate with clients on a regular basis to ensure all needs are being met.
· Field phone calls for any problems or dissatisfaction by employees and/or clients.
· Take inquiries from new customers – explain and obtain information. Prepare necessary documents and enter into HRIS system.
· Check on temporary jobs for satisfaction by customer and employee.
· Provides administrative assistance and support.
· Create and maintain computer files.
· Interprets and applies company HR policies and procedures for temporary employees.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administrative, preferably in Human Resources or related field or equivalent preferred.
· Two years of office/customer service experience.
· Strong written, verbal, interpersonal skills and teamwork skills.
· Outgoing, friendly, positive and the ability to develop good working relationships with our clients and associates.
· Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
