Quality Technician - The Toro Company

DUTIES Adheres to approved Company, Safety and Department policies and procedures. Provide production support for product inspection including: precise measurements, receiving inspection; first article inspection, finished goods audit, and roving inspections. Utilize measuring equipment that can include micrometers, calipers, height gages, test equipment and coordinate measuring machine. Under the guidance of the Quality Supervisor, conduct inspections of product and reject non-conforming product based on product specifications. Conducts inspection of piece parts, assembly and shipping holds, utilizing a personal computer, SAP software programs, and other applicable department peripherals. Conduct inspections/audits in accordance to standard operating procedures and provide feedback on inspection results. Perform analysis of field returns and identifies root causes for discrepancies utilizing the applicable aforementioned production peripherals. Prepare product quality reports to describe inspection and audit results such as: process audits, sample testing flow testing and specialized tests. Performs other duties as assigned or are not included here but are within the context of duties defined.
