Position: CNC Machine Operator
The CNC Machine Operator performs operation and set up of complex machined components for many different industries.
The following essential functions are the critical duties an employee must be able to perform either unaided or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodation:
Responsibilities
· From written set up instruction Operate machine tools and make offset adjustments to optimize part conformance to print
· Ability to do repetitive machining work
· Ability to read blueprints at a basic level and correlate that back to the inspection protocol and documentation
· Some assistance in set up of machine tools under the supervision of a machinist
· Has a basic understanding of applicable machining techniques and understanding of control functions
· May run multiple machines simultaneously as a production cell
· Working knowledge of GD&T
· Basic math skills
· Mentor or train Operators on certain repetitive jobs
· Other duties as needed
Requirements
Experience & Education Preferred
- Highschool diploma/CNC technical degree preferred
- 2 years machining experience
- Mechanical interest/aptitude
- Good math skills
- Willingness to learn
