Job Title: Locum Physician
The position we are seeking a qualified gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in a suburb of Salt Lake City, situated in the southwestern part of the Salt Lake Valley, nestled between the Oquirrh Mountains and the Jordan River.
This is a great opportunity to bridge employment gaps or transitions between permanent positions by taking on locum assignments, maintaining income and professional engagement during transitional periods. You will also have the chance to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and specialists across various healthcare settings, gaining insights and perspectives that enrich your professional practice.
Clinic and procedure coverage Monday through Friday 8:00a-4:30p is required. Some days will be all clinic while other days will be a mix of clinic and procedures.
We offer paid malpractice insurance, paid housing and travel, comprehensive onboarding, 1099 financial consulting, and credentialing, privileging, and licensing assistance.
Requirements:
- Gastroenterology MD
- 40-50 patients per week
- Day Shift
- No call required
- Yes, board certification is required
- Yes, prescriptive authority is required
- Adult patient population
- Support staff includes MA, RN, Echo Tech, Lab Tech, Nuclear Tech, X-ray Tech
- An APP will be on site 2 days per week
Salary : $300,000 - $400,000
