Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mortuary Transporter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the respectful and timely transport of deceased individuals from various locations to our facility. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and care.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport deceased individuals from hospitals, homes, or other locations to the mortuary.
- Ensure that all transport activities are conducted in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all transport activities and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with families, healthcare professionals, and team members regarding transport arrangements.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on transportation vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the transportation of deceased individuals.
- Assist with heavy lifting as required during the loading and unloading process.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
