What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Specialist/Cash Application position at Traffic Plan?
POSITION SUMMARY: Mainly responsible for the accurate and timely posting of all customer payments.

- Cash Application of all ACH, Wire Transfer and Checks in addition to Credit Card Processing
- Prior experience working with Utilities and familiarity navigating and utilizing Vendor Portals for electronic billing
- Ability to work with the sales team and internal departments to resolve past due and outstanding issues with customers
- Reconcile and resolve customer accounts and review any discrepancies.
- Responsible for initiating calls to delinquent customers to collect payments and settle accounts with continued follow up until resolved.
- Assist with billing as needed
- Providing customer service regarding process and review account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies and short payments
- Make adjustments to accounts as needed
- Work closely management to resolve payment/billing discrepancies
- Ability to organize and prioritize daily tasks
- Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department
