Your Part in It:
Working from our Chicago office, we are looking for our next Operations Representative. As an Operations Representative at Traffic Tech, you will be responsible for managing relationships with our customer base to provide the most cost-effective, high-level service for our clients.
OPERATIONS REPRESENATIVE
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain strong customer and vendor relationships.
- Manage day to day transportation operations including but not limited to dispatching, tracking, & scheduling shipments
- Ensure all required shipping documentation is prepared.
- Maintain effective and professional communication both internally and externally within a timely manner.
- Assist with cost negotiation on shipments.
- Collaborate with both carrier and sales teams.
- Continue to follow standard operating procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
- High School Diploma
- >1 year experience in the logistics and supply chain industry
- Problem solving skills, detail-oriented, high level of multi-tasking skills.
- Possess professional phone and email mannerisms.
- Outgoing personality, high energy, flexible
- Great attitude and desire to work hard.
- Team player mentality
