About The Role:
This is for proposed business and all offers are contingent upon Transdev's award of the contract in El Monte, California.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing efficient routes across the service area
- Ensuring that trips are being distributed to all providers and that trip volume is commensurate with performance and fleet size.Supervising and evaluating Schedulers
- Proactively addressing issues with transportation concerning service.
- Maintaining compliance with Company standards through direct and consistent observation.
- Addressing Transportation Provider performance issues
- Supporting new providers to ensure retention
- Ensuring Transportation Coordinators have the tools needed to perform duties successfully
- Responding effectively and courteously to inquiries, special requests, and/or complaints.
- Providing reporting on Key Performance IndicatorsPerforming other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- 3 years experience in ADA Paratransit dispatching
- Knowledge of the RSDS functions used in dispatching operationsPrior transportation scheduling, dispatch, or routing experience preferred
- The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form, with all levels of personnel
- The ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions
- The ability to handle escalated calls in a professional manner
- To demonstrate great attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- High energy and be self-motivated
- Knowledge of local geography
- Subject to a drug screen
