Transdev is actively seeking a transportation dispatcher for their paratransit route service in the Allentown, PA area. We are looking for a qualified dispatcher who can provide excellent customer service to both our passengers and our drivers.
The hourly range is $19-$21 and the candidate must be available to work weekends and evenings.

Job Description:
- Responds, records, and resolves customer feedback via multiple channels.
- Communicates and coordinates with internal departments to help meet customer needs.
- Performs weekly audits that meet Transdev’s policies and procedures.
- Assure that all routes are covered utilizing appropriate vehicles, personnel, equipment, and information.
- Optimize use of company operating system to monitor, dispatch, and improve service to the customers.
- Other duties as required.
Employment Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of dispatch operations experience.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt to changing situations and listen to feedback.
- A customer service-oriented mentality with attention to detail.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Clear driving record and background.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment drug test, DOT physical, and completion of I-9 employment verification.
- Prefer open availability.
- Must be able to work weekends.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
- Most of the work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
- Most of the work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.
- Must be able to sit for a full shift.
- The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
