Job Overview: The Parts Delivery Specialist plays a crucial role in the daily operations of TransEdge Truck Centers by ensuring the timely and professional delivery of parts to our valued customers. This position requires a candidate who exemplifies reliability and professionalism, is self-driven, and excels at fostering strong customer relationships through prompt and courteous service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Uphold a pristine driving record.
- Accurately select and securely load parts onto the delivery vehicle.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving department to facilitate the check-in and storage of parts.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of both indoor and outdoor parts storage areas, including the loading dock.
- Manage waste disposal tasks, including emptying the baler and trash receptacles.
- Dismantle pallets as needed.
- Provide efficient parts running services for counter staff and the workshop.
- Conduct routine maintenance and care for the delivery vehicle.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Physical Requirements:
- Capable of lifting or carrying items weighing over 50 pounds to a height of 44 inches.
- Must be able to reach, climb, twist, crouch, kneel, or stoop to retrieve parts from various storage locations.
Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Previous experience in parts handling or a driving-related role is advantageous.
