Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. BCBA or BCaBA practicum students are highly encouraged to apply!!

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) you will work with our Doctoral Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) to implement life-changing ABA care in-home. The RBT will work directly with individuals on the autism spectrum, implementing behavior intervention plans and assisting in the development of care plans. This role requires a strong understanding of behavior management techniques, data collection methods, and patient care practices. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through effective behavioral support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child’s home setting and in the community.
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as designed by a Doctoral Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D).
  • Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.
  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Engage in behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum high-school degree or equivalent - ideally looking for candidates interested in pursuing careers within the field
  • Experience working with children, and a passion for working with children with special needs
  • Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Understanding of data collection methods and behavior management techniques is essential.
  • Knowledge of care plans, medical records, and HIPAA regulations is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment are required.
  • Reliable Transportation.
  • Active RBT Certification (Preferred, but will train if needed)
  • Active CPR Certification (Required, but will train if needed)
  • Must pass background check (this is a requirement from the funding source)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time
  • Sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
