Medical Biller
Location: Ridgewood, NJ
As a Medical Biller at Dr. Sam Von Reiche and The Center for Transformation, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate billing processes that support our mission of providing exceptional mental health care. Responsibilities
- Process medical billing claims accurately and efficiently.
- Utilize DRG, CPT coding, ICD-9, and ICD-10 for billing purposes.
- Manage medical collections and follow up on outstanding claims.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Stay updated on changes in medical billing regulations and coding practices.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients regarding billing inquiries.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical billing with knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-9, ICD-10.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding practices.
- Experience with medical collections is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff.
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is advantageous.
