Job Overview:
Transformative Therapy is a OHA approved facility and is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to individuals with various mental health needs and disorders, offer referrals, and deliver supportive services as needed for the client's overall well-being. As an independent contractor, clinicians must be able to work autonomously and require minimal supervision outside of the scheduled supervision hours provided. All clinicians are expected to actively participate in supervision hours for professional development and constructive feedback.
Candidates for this position must be willing to see 15 or more clients per week, in accordance with Transformative Therapy's policy on caseload management. The selection of clientele is flexible on a case-by-case basis, depending on the clinician's skill set and the specific needs of the clients they serve. Additionally, opportunities for professional development will be available as part of your contract, including stipends to purchase materials to better serve our clientele after one year of service.

Duties:
- Independently conduct assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and develop comprehensive treatment plans utilizing the 'golden thread' model.
- Provide individual therapy using evidence-based methods tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Deliver professional and appropriate services to clientele while adhering to the ethical guidelines outlined by your licensing board.
- Ensure timely documentation in accordance with Transformative Therapy's 72-hour policy on documentation.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Education Required:
- A Master's degree from a board-approved program in a relevant field.
- Currently hold or have the ability to obtain a QMHP-R certificate from MHACBO.
*QMHP Registration and Certification is for individuals working at state approved mental health programs or are seeking employment at state approved mental health programs.
QMHP-Registrant has a masters degree in behavioral science that is approved and accepted by our agency for the delivery of professional mental health services.
- Exceptions: Bachelor’s degree in nursing (and active Oregon State Nursing License) or occupational therapy (and active Oregon OT License)
- Must provide official transcripts
- Must have supervisor complete a competency assessment

Pay Structure:
Compensation is determined by billable services rendered by the clinician and/or clinicians’ duties per title (i.e. supervisor). Pay is accumulated based on client hours within a two-week period. For example, based on 90837 billable hours and seeing 20 clients per week, base pay would approximate $ 88,400 per year.

Job Type:
This position offers flexibility with options for Telehealth (working remotely), In-office sessions, as well as both part-time and full-time positions. Offices are available based on status and availability; they are fully furnished with all necessary tools to be successful. Billing, credentialing, and advertising support will also be provided as part of your contract. Contractors will have access to AI documentation in real-time if desired to help reduce workload.
