What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Nurse LPN position at Transitions of Western Illinois?
Do you want to make a difference in the lives of children? We're looking for a School Nurse to work with children who have autism and related communication disorders at our private school. Our School Nurse provides nursing care for school students along with general clerical duties to support the school staff in order to meet the needs of students. Also serves as a Float Paraprofessional in classrooms working with students to implement their IEPs, perform ADLs, and participate in community-based activities.
Requirements:
- Current LPN license
- Associate's Degree or 60 college credit hours to qualify as Paraprofessional in IL
- Ability to pass criminal background checks and a drug test
Full-time position with daytime hours of work Monday through Friday (about 35 hrs/wk).
