What are the responsibilities and job description for the Merchandiser (full-time or part-time) position at TransPac Group?
TransPac Group is a fast-growing wholesale distribution business based in Aiea. Founded 28 years ago, we distribute modern nicotine, grocery, candy, snacks, toys and other general merchandise to most major grocery, drug, and convenience retailers in Hawaii.
We have immediate openings for full-time and part-time Merchandisers who would spend most of their time servicing customers during a Monday to Friday daytime shift.
We are willing to train someone with no prior experience. If you have a reliable vehicle, like working with people, have good interpersonal and communication skills, have a good work ethic and are accountable, please note the job description below.
Duties include:
- Merchandise products at customer stores
- Deliver customer orders
- Place customer orders, including promoting new items
- Process claims and returns
- Perform resets and surveys
- Take photos and provide market reports
- Maintain good relationships with customers
Qualifications:
- Previous experience preferred but not required
- Driver's license, safe driving record and a reliable vehicle
- Reliable smartphone with web browser and email
- Responsible, detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
