What are the responsibilities and job description for the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver position at Transportation Solutions?
Our Company continues to grow and we are looking for the perfect driver! We need a driver who WHO LIVES IN OR WITHIN 10 MILES of Maupin or Tygh Valley, OR to transport our clients to and from their medical appointments.

This is an hourly position, eligible for overtime. Daily and weekly hours fluctuate, average hours are between 25-40 hours a week.
For new drivers, we provide all training, screening fees, and transportation equipment. We supply the company vehicle, driver schedule, and the gas!
Drivers may drive up to 10 hours a day, over 300 miles, long distance to various outlying cities - including Portland, OR, Hermiston, OR, and as far as Walla Walla, WA.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Valid drivers license (CDL not required)
Clean driving record or at least no more than 1 moving violation in last 5 years.
At least 8 years driving experience
Able to pass county, state, nationwide criminal background check
Able to pass a 10-panel drug test and alcohol breathalyzer test. THC is not allowed.
At least 1-year of customer service experience.

JOB DUTIES/SKILLS
- Perform a daily inspection of company vehicle
- Keep vehicle clean and take vehicles to proper shops for required maintenance - i.e. tire rotations, oil changes etc.
- Knowledgeable with Google Maps, operate Android tablet to manage rides.
- Assist wheelchair clients - pushing them up wheelchair ramp, properly loading and securing them into the van.
- Able to drive in inclement weather if necessary - rain, snow, sleet etc.
- Operate smartphone to check company email and communicate with clients and dispatchers.
- Drive in a safe manner, utilizing defensive driving training, to take clients to their appointments on time.
OTHER PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Possess previous customer service experience with a good track record of assisting customers in a thoughtful, caring, and timely manner.
Have a great work history with a track record of being a reliable responsible individual.
Previously certified in Basic Adult & Child First Aid & CPR and Defensive Driving, preferred but not required.
