Job Summary
Assist Fuel Accounts Payable Supervisor by maintaining assigned vendor accounts to ensure the department’s targets are met. Vendor account maintenance is achieved by adherence to defined policies, procedures and checklists. This position’s duties, as outlined below, are key in ensuring the department’s efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure all invoices are received and processed timely within established guidelines for all assigned vendor accounts.
- Analyze all invoice differences for assigned vendors to determine the cause of the discrepancy as well as the proper course of action to be taken in order to resolve that discrepancy.
- Prepare and send credit requests to assigned vendors for any billing issues and follow up with that vendor to ensure the collection of funds due TA.
- Prepare internal reversal requests for any receipt incorrectly entered or master data that requires correction in SAP.
- Assist in the matching and clearing of the respective fuel payable with corresponding electronic and manual payments, keeping vendor account balances reconciled and within established guidelines.
- Assist in the review and resolution of open receipts for assigned vendors.
- Assist Fuel AP Lead with responses to vendor, tax and internal auditor requests
