We are seeking a full time Medical Assistant to join our team in this lively children's clinic!
TAPAC's goal is to provider quality and caring service to all our patients from new parents caring for their first child to adolescents stepping out into the world to go to college. And that care starts with our exceptional staff!
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic patient care and treatment
- Collaborate with registered nurses & providers
- Prepare rooms for patients
- Prepare charts for upcoming patient visits
- Assist with procedures when necessary
- Recording vitals
- Giving Immunizations
- Assist as needed with securing referrals and making specialist or test appointments
- Answering phones
- scanning & entering paperwork
This job requires working some evenings and Saturdays
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems
- Provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination
