Job Summary
The Warehouse Helper/Delivery Driver supports the day-to-day operations of the company by efficiently procuring, properly storing, and supervising the delivery of material needed on Contract Division projects and Service Division jobs. This position will be a dual-role position, assisting both the Service Division and the Contract Division. The Warehouse Helper/Delivery Driver will report to the Warehouse Coordinator but will work together with the Residential service Manager, Contract Division Project Coordinators as well as Project Managers to ensure materials have been ordered, received, delivered, and accounted for. A successful Warehouse Helper/Delivery Driver must have the ability to function as a part of a team, be motivated by tasks/goals, must work cooperatively with the Warehouse Coordinator, and be able to think creatively and critically. He or she must be hungry, humble, and smart.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Loading and unloading trucks, moving material in a safe manner using forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or other device.
- Make local deliveries in company truck as needed.
- Count, check, prepare, and record items being received or shipped.
- Maintaining a clean, neat, and organized warehouse under the direction of the Warehouse Coordinator. Our goal is for the warehouse to look similar to Lowes/Home Depot with regard to organization and cleanliness.
- deliver material to needed locations expeditiously, coordinating trips to supply houses to limit wasted time.
- Be able to drive heavy trucks and transport heavy equipment as needed.
- Follow protocols established by the Warehouse Coordinator regarding material orders, warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Responsible for assisting with the tracking all company-owned tools as instructed by Warehouse Coordinator.
- Must comply with all safety protocols
- Be able to operate the following equipment proficiently and safely:
- Forklift, in a warehouse setting.
- Drive trucks and pull trailers, transporting and proper loading/unloading of equipment and material
- Know how to properly secure a load on a trailer or truck bed and transport the load
- Construction equipment: skid steer, mini-excavator, ride on and walk behind trenchers, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be able/willing to develop strong working knowledge of electrical materials, including terminologies and uses for thousands of different parts.
- Must be able to work closely with the Warehouse Coordinator and others in a professional manner.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be 21 years of age or older, have a clean driving record, and must be insurable.
- Must be fluent in English.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Self-starter, reliable, flexibility with hours
- Strong customer service skills
- Present and communicate professionally, kindly, and with confidence (written and verbal)
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must pass drug screen/background check
Physical Demands:
- Moderate to heavy lifting may be required (up to 100) pounds
- Ability to work 40-45 hours per week (average is 40)
Working Environment:
- Unconditioned Warehouse work.
- Job/Construction sites.
