T reasure Coast Community Health (TCCH), a long-established and highly respected healthcare provider with locations throughout Indian River County is continuing to expand. We are now seeking an LPN to provide medical services within the Indian River County jail.
Operating within the confines of an imprisonment facility, correctional LPN performs many of the same tasks as nursing professionals who work in traditional medical establishments. They aim to provide adequate health care by assessing and treating inmates.
Correctional nurses get assigned a variety of tasks, starting with maintaining proper safety procedures. They carefully monitor patients' progress and responses to medical treatments, as well as administer medication and maintain properly document patient medical histories.
This is a direct hire position with Treasure Coast Community Health. This is not a contract position. Travel is not compensated.
Florida LPN license or compact license required; CPR required. Excellent computer skills. Minimum of 1 yr LPN experience. Competitive wages and generous benefit package. TCCH is an EOE.
