We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote early literacy, math, and physical education.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing positive reinforcement strategies to support children's social-emotional development.
- Provide individualized support for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention services.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Foster a love for learning through creative play, hands-on activities, and structured lessons.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the overall educational experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff.
- Experience in behavior management strategies to support diverse learning needs.
- Background in Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus.
