You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: Providing strategic direction and oversight aligned with Corporate EHS for environmental, occupational health, safety, industrial hygiene, occupation medical, and security standards while in accordance with federal/state/local regulatory and company requirements (OSHA, EPA and TreeHouse Foods standards) Develop and manages daily activities, including the execution of a variety of trainings, monitoring, and identifying risks/exposures tied to EHS programs, to ensure interaction with team leaders, management and facility employees in order to increase awareness and education levels regarding safe and compliant work. These programs include, but aren’t limited to; Lock Out Tag Out, Hot Work, Machine Guarding, Confined Space, hearing conservation, etc. Assist in establishing and accountable for oversight of cross functional and multidisciplinary Program teams, to address EHS and security site issues, formulate proposal for strategic and tactical responses to ensure preventive measures that positively impact the maturity and foster a safety-first culture Serves as technical and regulatory expert. Assist with safety related regulatory compliance issues, as well as assisting with updating and implementing company and site safety programs/standards Accountable for all EHS metrics per their site loss analysis including monitoring for trends and reacting accordingly Responsible for monitoring, preparation and maintenance of mandatory/regulatory safety and environmental reports/records through EHS Data Management System Implement and maintain an incident investigation methodology, aligned with corporate EHS & Risk Management, to ensure incidents are investigated and root causes are identified Supporting partner to Human Resources regarding Worker’s Compensation loss control programs and related reporting requirements Important Details: The position is a full time, permanent role at our Princeton, KY manufacturing facility. About You: You’ll fit right in if you have: Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in environment, health and safety, and/or sustainability management Experience working in a manufacturing facility Food and Beverage experience preferred Strong knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA, hazard communications, accident investigation and safety training methods, etc.) Knowledgeable of industry best practice regarding safety and environmental management practices with PSM & RMP B.S. degree in safety management, environmental health, or related field; Master's degree preferred Your TreeHouse Foods Career is Just a Click Away!
