What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk position at Treemen Industries?
Job Summary:
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for reading and interpreting shipping schedules and ensures that all orders meet shipment quality.
Job Duties:
In addition to the responsibilities above, the Shipping and Receiving Clerk:
- Pull parts needed for shipment to multiple customers
- Use hand held scanners for verification and accuracy
- Label all material needed for shipment
- Communicate with manufacturing for needed material
- Load and unload trucks
- Receiving duties
- Put all received items in proper location
- Shipper will generate all corresponding paperwork required by customer (Packing Slips and gather quality documents from quality as needed for each shipment)
- Shipper will schedule trucks to pick up as needed.
- Other tasks assigned by immediate supervisor
Work Specifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Specific Knowledge: Math
- Specific Skills: Computer
- Physical Requirements: Able to lift 50lbs
- Must have Tow Moter Experience
- Communication
- Good attendance
