Treetop Tees is a locally owned apparel shop in downtown Juneau, featuring Alaska inspired designs screen printed here in town!
We’re looking for someone to join our team as sales associate and offer outstanding customer service in the shop. Our Fall/Winter season looks a little different from the chaos of summer, but that means more time to connect with our local shoppers and sharing in the excitement of the holidays. We have a lot of fun participating in events like First Friday, Public Market, and Gallery Walk. This is a Part Time position and could be a great fit for a student or as a casual second job. Looking for someone who could work at least one weekend shift and have some afternoon availability during weekdays.
As a sales associate you would be responsible for greeting and assisting customers on products as they browse, maintaining a clean and organized space, re-stocking inventory, tagging and folding new inventory, processing transactions throughout the day, and achieving sales goals.
We are looking for a positive and personable individual who feels confident working efficiently and independently. Applicant must be dependable, honest, and hardworking.
Ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience in retail sales and cash handling
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with stocking and merchandising
- Knowledge of retail math and POS system Previous customer service experience preferred.
This is a seasonal PT position through December but we are open to discussing this being a year round position for the right person! We offer competitive wages, potential bonus at the end of holiday season, and a casual work environment.
