We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fine dining environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and contributing to a positive atmosphere within the restaurant.
Position starts as server assistant with opportunity to become a lead server.
Restaurant Description
Trelio Food & Wine was established in 2006 by Chef and Sommelier Chris Shackelford. For almost 20 years, with its local and seasonal ingredients prepared with global techniques, Trelio has offered food and wine served with knowledge and warmth.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using Linga POS.
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell items to enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of service.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and presentation.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Experience with point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to increase sales.
- Prior upscale/fine dining experience and knowledge of wine desirable.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards in the food industry.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
Compensation
- $18/hour tips
- All servers are part of a points-based tip pool to encourage cooperation
