Aerospace Assembler, Machine operator

Company Description

Job Summary:  Run all machines in the Aerospace Department, Video jet Printing, Sonic Welding, Pad Printing Operate Electric Forklift, processing Incoming Stock and Materials, picking, packing. Use specific Glue for Airplane Windows to assemble

Role Description

.Job Responsibilities:

Actively participate in Team Meetings Daily

Stock all Boltron Sheets, Cut Hook & Loop Sizing, verifying Lot Numbers, Check for expiration Dates

Inventory all paint with Lot numbers & Expirations dates

Notify My Supervisory & Product Buyer when we are low in materials

Set up and print all Item numbers going through Aerospace for Video jet Printer

Set up Pad Printing for Aerospace parts

Set up handgun Sonic Welder for 3 different fixtures

Set up Toilet Seats, all types of Aerospace Windows and pack them for Shipping

Set up Autobagger

Mix inks, set up appropriate Cliches and Clean ink well thoroughly for different colors

Label all type of Glue with lot numbers & Expiration Dates.

Train Co workers for all machines in the Aerospace Department

Move stock with pallet jack up to the Mezzanine Level such as plastic bags, bubble bags

Monitor paint chemicals for cleaning appropriately.

Quality check parts for contamination and defects before packing.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating and maintaining industrial machinery and tools associated with aerospace manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and skills in quality inspection, including identifying and correcting defects
• Understanding and adherence to workplace safety standards and procedures
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Prior experience in aerospace assembly or manufacturing is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are advantageous
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
