Overview
Assure all floor surfaces and non-routine custodial duties are completed per contract standards and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Arrive on time and ready to work assigned schedule.
- Present all paperwork required in an accurate and timely manner.
- Interact with co-workers, other professional, and all interested parties in a professional manner.
- Take direction, interact and maintain open communication with supervisor.
- Cooperate with supervisors, subordinates, and co-workers.
- Attend all scheduled meetings.
- Serve as an effective role model by exemplifying professional behavior while promoting Tresco’s Mission, vision, Values and Code of Ethics.
- Assured that HIPAA policies and procedures are followed in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Be flexible with the schedule as some floors are done on nights and weekends.
- Assure janitorial and floor duties are performed to contract standards and timelines.
- Identify and attend position-relevant training to remain up to date on floor cleaning trends, SDS training, etc.
- Proficient with floor equipment i.e., buffers, auto scrubbers, and burnishers.
- Accept and implement special assignments from supervisor.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES. Other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education. High school/GED
Experience. Three years experience in the custodial and floor care fields.
Licenses/Certifications. Valid driver’s license.
Other (e.g., post-offer drug screen, background check, driver’s license record, etc.). All employees must undergo a driver’s license record check; employees must pass a background check.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED BY THE POSITION:
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language.
- Knowledge of standard custodial practices, with emphasis on floor care and cleaning.
Rate of Pay: $15.00/hr
Hours: Varies, some nights and weekends may be required
