What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stock Kitting & Inventory Clerk position at Trexon?
C.E. Precision Assemblies
A leading Aerospace and Defense assembly manufacturer in Chandler, Arizona is seeking a Stock Kitting and Inventory Clerk.
Weekly Schedule: Full Time, Mon-Fri 6:00a-2:30p (overtime as required)
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
Qualifications:
- Preferred: 4 years production related experience.
- Required: High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred: Knowledge and experience in stockroom
- Must be able to occasionally lift 35lbs to 50lbs.
- Preferred: Forklift or Powerlift experience.
- Must pass a background and drug test.
- Must have own reliable transportation and a valid US driver’s license.
Provides Material Support:
- Utilize a “Do it Right the First Time” philosophy in all activities.
- Sort, check, and place received material into logical or assigned locations.
- Create reorder requests when material needs replenishment.
- Provide material for the production line by following the material pick list on the Labor Plan.
- Must be accurate with all counts and markers being created.
- Double check your work.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned.
Maintain Required Stock Levels:
- Conduct short- and long-range inventory strategies and planning.
- Coordinate with production requirements of production related materials and supplies with Inventory to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Provide expertise and assistance in formulating, developing and implementing inventory stocking and procurement
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels.
Cycle Counting:
- Periodically or continuously, depending on the material type, count and record your findings for accuracy and allocations.
Clean and Organize:
- Using 5S best practices, use the clean as you go method.
- Rearrange stock locations or materials to optimize space utilization when necessary.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
