Wire Harness Assembly Technician
Qualastat Electronics, a leading Aerospace and Defense assembly manufacturer in Chandler Arizona is seeking a Lead Production Assembler. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Production Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in precision soldering and preferably the assembly of semi-rigid RF cable assemblies. This role requires exceptional technical expertise and leadership abilities to ensure the production of high-quality wire harness assemblies. As an Assembler, you will contribute to the assembly process, work with team members, and maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The perfect Candidate for this position will be reliable, have a good work ethic, be a team player, and take great pride in building assemblies that help keep America safe.
Weekly Schedule: Full time, 9/80 schedule
Week 1 - Mon-Fri 6:00a-2:00p Week 2 – Mon-Thurs 6:00a-4:00p
Pay: $18 to $22 per hour
Specific Responsibilities:
Assembly and Soldering:
- Perform precision soldering on various electronic components and semi-rigid RF cable assemblies.
- Assemble and fabricate wire harnesses and cable assemblies according to engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, soldering irons, and other equipment to ensure precise and reliable connections.
- Conduct inspections and testing to verify the quality and functionality of completed assemblies.
Required Skills:
- Previous wire harness experience or formal wire harness training is required.
- Ability to read and understand drawings, drawing notes, and assembly procedures.
- A strong work ethic, an eye for quality, and a sense of pride.
- Must know how to read and use a ruler/scale/tape measure/caliper.
- Must have own reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug test.
- Must be able to read, speak, and write English.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
