As an Infection Prevention Control Nurse, you will be responsible for the administration of the center’s Infection Prevention and Infection Control Program. You will identify, investigate, and report infections and communicable diseases and educate staff on the control and prevention of those infections. Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) or above required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required.
- Two (2 ) years Nursing experience required.
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control, infectious diseases, and/or epidemiology in patient care practices OR prior Long-Term Care experience required.
- CDC - IPCO Certification required or must be willing to complete within 5 days of employment.
- CIC or APIC certification a plus.
