What are the responsibilities and job description for the Court - Armed Security Supervisor & Scheduler position at Tri-Cities Monitoring Inc.?
TCM provides professionally trained screening positions, armed court security officers and bailiffs who are responsible for facilitating day to day security for Judges, Commissioners, staff and the clients each entity serves. This is NOT an entry level position. This is a Supervisory position. People without supervisory experience AND scheduling experience related to this profession or general line of work, will not be considered for this position. ALL security positions are also responsible for safeguarding the facilities. All hired personnel are required to follow all Washington State RCW's for armed security laws and TCM's policies, provide written documentation to supervisors of any event when required. Hired personnel must have the capability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing, and have verbal de-escalation skills. ALL SOs must have the ability to transport in custody inmates both local and long-distance when required, which means a valid driver's license and clean driving record are required. All hired personnel are required to maintain a professional uniform appearance and possess a smart phone for time and attendance recording and communication. Company laptop provided. Supervisor & Scheduler requirements:
Must have current LEO commission, previously commissioned LEO, Corrections, Military
Prior Screening experience is great but not required.
Must be 21 years of age
Pass extensive background investigation
Flexibility in daily, weekly schedule. Will not only be a dayshift position. Some evening and weekend shifts and hours will be required
First Aid/CPR/AED certified - will certify in-house if not already certified
Pass TCM Firearm qualification
Possess own Firearm
Possess current Washington State CWP
Prior defensive tactics and restraint experience
Able to stand/walk/kneel for a long period of time
Present current driving ADR and proof on insurance will be verified in-house
Submit to initial drug testing and random UA's when requested - all done upon acceptance of job
Prior electronic screening certification or provide documented experience - if any
Salary : $21 - $25
