Transportation Driver

Job descriptionJob SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting clients to and from our Senior Centers, Adult Day Care Center and trips for client medical appointments in various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and professionalism in all driving and delivery activities. Call 502-222-1349 and ask for Laurie to apply.DutiesTransport clients by van on scheduled routes, ensuring safety to and from destinationsProvide physical assistance for clients entering and exiting the vehicleSecure necessary transport signatures from clientsMaintain a detailed log of daily transports and mileageWeekly checks of fluid levels and tiresScheduling regular oil changes, tire rotations, etc.Attend required training sessions and staff meetingsMaintain confidentiality and respect with all clientsImmediately report any incidents to the supervisor and complete necessary reportsPerform additional tasks as directed by the supervisorQualificationsHigh School diploma or GED preferredValid KY driver’s licenseClean driving record for the past 5 years (no accidents or violations)At least 21 years of ageNo history of DUI offensesProof of insurabilityExperience working with elderly individuals or in a human services agency preferredAbility to operate a van and assist with physical needsOutgoing, personable, and able to accept supervision.Ability to assist participants with walking when necessary.Capable of lifting or moving up to 25 pounds and supporting participant weightAbility to walk, stand, reach, stretch, bend, crouch, kneel, or crawl as neededFunctional ability in hearing, vision, and physical maneuvering to ensure participant safetyStrong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed.Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.Join our team today and contribute to our mission of delivering quality service and serving our community while enjoying the dynamic environment of driving!Job Type : Part-timePay : From $13.00 per hourExpected hours : No more than 20 per weekBenefits : Flexible scheduleShift : Day shiftMorning shiftWork Days : Monday to FridayEducation : High school or equivalent (Required)License / Certification : Driver's License (Required)Ability to Commute : La Grange, KY 40031 (Required)Ability to Relocate : La Grange, KY 40031 : Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location : In person
