Role Overview:
The Warehouse Associate picks, packs, loads, unloads and moves inventory within the warehouse. This work utilizes warehouse equipment such as a fork lift, hand truck or power device. The position also performs an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming inventory and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack inventory from the warehouse and transport it to the shipping bay.
- Stock inventory received in the warehouse.
- Count and stock materials based on inventory control log.
- Identify damaged, lost or missing inventory and notify Warehouse Supervisor.
- Pack orders in an orderly manner and close cartons so they are prepared for shipping.
- Check inventory accuracy to determine appropriate contents as well as end destination.
- Load containers onto forklifts and drive them to the delivery pallet.
- Assist in unloading containers from the forklifts and loading them on delivery trucks or vans.
- Receive product deliveries from vendors and ensure that they are properly stored.
- Create delivery and shipment reports and ensure that all information is keyed into Eclipse.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of equipment and tools used in the delivery or loading processes.
- Occasional fabrication duties: cutting, threading, and grooving pipe.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Back-up driver for non-DOT deliveries.
- Performs all other duties assigned by management.

Requirements
- 1 years of warehouse or related experience in the same or similar industry preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial pipe, valve and fitting materials a plus.
- Previous experience with bar-coded inventory systems a plus.
- Must be able to lift over 50 pounds.
- Ability to drive a forklift.
- Drivers License required.
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Able to use MS Office Suite and distribution-specific ERP systems.
- Ability to pass background check, MVR check, and drug test where required.
Salary : $17 - $18
