Heavy Equipment Operator

Tri-State Paving and Sealcoating Inc. is looking for experienced heavy equipment operators.

A Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for the operation and general daily maintenance of all equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Equipment may include, but is not limited to, pavers, rollers, skid steers, excavators, backhoes, and loaders. The Heavy Equipment Operator must also maintain and secure all equipment by company policy and procedures. Attention to detail and the ability to work safely and efficiently is a priority of the Heavy Equipment Operator.

Qualifications for a Heavy Equipment Operator:

· Must have three years’ experience in operating heavy equipment;

· Must be able to follow OSHA safety standards and be safety conscious;

· Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States;

· Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as assigned;

· Must be committed to contributing to a culture of safety, looking out for yourself and others;

· Must be able to take oral and written orders, instructions, and guidance from supervisors and managers; and

· Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen and acceptable driving history as determined at the sole discretion of the company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
