Overview:
As a Parts Driver at Tri-State Trailer Sales, Inc., you will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring timely and efficient delivery of parts to our customers. You will be an integral part of our commitment to providing exceptional service within the trucking industry.
Tri-State Trailer Sales in Lancaster, PA is a full-service semi-trailer dealership and we are hiring a Parts Driver and Warehouse Person.
The Parts Driver and Warehouse Person will pick-up/deliver heavy duty truck parts to predetermined customers on specific routes, using the company vehicle and assist with warehouse inventory, stocking and cleaning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include but are not limited to the following:
· Pull parts from inventory for counter and outside salespeople, and mechanics
· Load and unload parts from delivery trucks
· Collect pick tickets for daily deliveries
· Process/package returns, and label if needed
· Stocking: Put stock orders away / Stock lobby, warehouse and containers
· Clean outside parts area, lobby shelves, warehouse and delivery trucks
· Perform inventory cycle counts
· Perform commercial vehicle pre-trip inspections daily
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
· Must be familiar with driving large vehicles such as full-size pickup trucks or box trucks
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
· Some computer skills needed to enter parts on repair orders
· Positive and professional attitude
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend and walk. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds without assistance. Work performed inside and outside the building throughout the year.
