What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Coordinator position at Triangle Credit Union?
The essential requirements for this position include:

Audits consumer loan files within a reasonable time frame with minimal errors; informs management of any auditing concerns, including: possible loan fraud. Process paid loans. Ensure all loans comply with established TCU policies and procedures.
- Prepares title applications, submits to state and follows up on all outstanding titles.
- Ensure all titles and UCC’s are recorded in a timely manner and to inform your manager, of any issues.
- All department logs (audit, title UCC, new loans) and monthly department close loan reports to be completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide accurate and professional service to new and existing members, both internally and externally. Assist members in a timely fashion. Responds to members’ phone calls and e-mails, as well as other correspondence, within one (1) day. Maintain absolute confidentiality in regards to internal and external member information, while adhering to TCU’s Service Strategies Standards.
- Maintains and secure the file room and perform other duties as assigned.

Experience*:
- One (1) year to three (3) years of similar or related experience
- HS Diploma or GED a requirement; post -secondary education desired

- Strong communication skills with clarity and be able to check for understanding
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work with internal and external members with courtesy and diplomacy

Interpersonal Skills: *
Work normally involves contacts with persons by immediate associates generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (member and/or vendors) requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
Must have good communication Skills.
