Duties and Responsibilities: Skills and qualifications: Expectations: Consistently monitors production floor to ensure established production numbers are met – makes necessary adjustments to keep production on track and on time Supervises department to ensure and confirm that process parameters and product specifications are adhered to, e.g. ingredients are scaled accurately, schedule is on track, time and speeds are accurate, folding schedule is on track, equipment settings are set to standard, and physical specifications are met Coaches employees on their performance in a timely manner. Provides necessary tools and support Partners with other departments to assure compliance and specifications are being met Completes daily shift notes in an accurate and timely manner, clearly outlining all production issues and offers solutions Assigns employee hours in a timely fashion and completes all other administrative tasks as needed Minimum Job Requirements: Experience: 3-5 years supervising teams in a manufacturing environment Technical skills associated with manufacturing process preferred Computer skills (MS Office Suite) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Lean and/or 6-Sigma certification/experience a plus Strong problem solving skills Attention to detail Quality orientation Demonstrate, promote and exemplify the Company’s Core Values in People, Quality and Growth Exhibit positive leadership in all interactions. Work Shift: Supporting the 12 hour night shift that starts at 7:00pm Working Conditions and Physical Effort: Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, humidity, darkness, and/or noise. Work environment involves moderate exposure to physical risks, such as working around mechanical, chemical, and electrical hazards. Light physical effort. Requires standing, sitting, walking, talking, seeing, hearing, fine dexterity, and handling of average-weight objects up to 50 pounds.
