Role Summary:
Graphic Design at Tribu is all about great design and strategic thinking (After all, we are storytellers working towards goals, not just artists). This position will constantly challenge you as a graphic designer. You’ll get to work with projects, big and small, evolving your industry knowledge and turning great ideas into concepts. Most importantly, you’ll be problem-solving on the most effective way to convey messages beautifully. This role requires following Tribu’s design processes to ensure best practices but has enough room for experimentation and autonomy to make your work shine. This position is timeline-driven and thrives on following self-set schedules and never missing deadlines. Individuals who are self-responsible and crave feedback will thrive and succeed.
Last but not least, individuals in this position respond well to pressure, are self-aware, and are high performers – ultimately, they are creative and the makers of visually functional knocks-your-socks-off end-products.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating eye-catching visual designs that communicate our partner’s brand message effectively. You will be working on projects ranging from web graphics to branding, packaging design to social media campaigns/ graphics. The Graphic Designer is responsible for maintaining brand consistency across all materials and ensuring that all projects are completed on time.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop visual concepts that communicate our partner's message across media platforms.
- Collaborate with team members to create design concepts and deliver high-quality work on time.
- Use industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite to create designs, including layouts, logos, graphics, and animations.
- Develop and maintain a consistent brand image across all marketing materials, including print, digital, and social media.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and requirements and deliver designs that meet or exceed their expectations.
- Continuously research new trends, tools, and techniques in graphic design and incorporate them into your work.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field
- At least 2-3 years of experience in graphic design, bonus points for experience in an agency setting
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and clients
- Strong creative and technical skills, with an eye for detail and the ability to think outside the box
- Timeline-Driven Mentality- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Portfolio of previous design work demonstrating a range of skills and styles.
- Curiosity is a must.
