Role - Solution Architect
Location – Jersey City, NJ - Onsite ( 4 days a week )- Looking for local candidates
Job Type - Full-Time
Job Description: Primary skillset: Technical Architect /Lead | Azure, Databricks, Apache Spark/PySpark, Data Modeling
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture & Design
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
- Architect large-scale data processing and analytics systems leveraging Azure Databricks.
- Create comprehensive architectural blueprints and technical documentation.
Implementation & Leadership
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Azure and Databricks-based solutions.
- Guide Data Mesh and data product architecture initiatives within Databricks environments.
- Provide technical leadership across project lifecycles, ensuring alignment with best practices and business objectives.
Collaboration & DevOps
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Security & Optimization
- Ensure implementation of best-in-class security practices (identity management, encryption, network security).
- Optimize cloud resources for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
Continuous Learning
- Stay current with new Azure services, Databricks features, and evolving industry standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10–15 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related domains.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- In-depth experience with Azure cloud services.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing solutions (e.g., Delta Lake, Lakehouse architecture).
- Knowledge of data governance and cloud security best practices.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
