Oversee the smooth running of your classroom.
Files must contain the most recent Emergency Contact Form and a Medicine Administration Form.
Create weekly Lesson Plans for the class with individualized learning noted for each child.
Perform weekly observations on each child using Teaching Strategies Gold and Tadpoles.
Finalize quarterly assessments according to required schedule for each child using Teaching Strategies Gold and be available for Parent Conferences upon request.
Be the parent’s main contact for information regarding their child.
Ensure that classroom meets all requirements set forth by the state and accrediting agencies.
Decorate class monthly according to season or theme.
Maintain storage of children’s belongings and classroom necessities.
Lead by example; follow all of Ducklings policies and expect the same from your Aides.
Follow Parent Directed schedule for each child.
Accurately document all daily activity in Brightwheel.
Follow weekly lesson plans.
Administer care to each child as per schedule as well as need using only items provided by their parents.
Clean room in accordance with daily cleaning schedule and state regulations.
Attend meetings and trainings. Always adhere to best practices with care of children and classroom.
