We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems. The Fire Sprinkler Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' fire protection systems are functioning properly and in compliance with local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems in various settings.
- Fabricate and assemble components using hand tools and welding techniques.
- Perform inspections on existing systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise installations.
- Troubleshoot issues with fire sprinkler systems and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with HVAC technicians when necessary to integrate systems effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Skills
- Proficient in stick welding and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) techniques.
- Strong ability to fabricate and assemble metal components for fire sprinkler systems.
- Experience using hand tools for installation and repair tasks.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
