Registered Nurse (RN) ED PRN - Nursing Responsible for assessment, nursing diagnosis (problem identification) and planning the nursing care for those patients assigned to his/her care. Responsible for implementing and evaluating the plan of care through performance and/or leadership of personnel. Understands disease process and treatment as well as preventative and maintenance care for patients ranging from birth, adolescence, adulthood, geriatrics, and unto death. Responsible for assuring that nursing care is provided in accordance with hospital departmental policies, and established standards of nursing care and practice as defined by the State of Kentucky and the Board of Nursing. SHIFT: Available for day or night shift.
QUALIFICATIONS: Current active RN license in Kentucky, or current working permit issued by KY Board of Nursing. Graduate of accredited school of Nursing. BLS required upon hire. ACLS and PALS preferred or certification required within six (6) months.
