ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST PRN JOB OPENING POSITION: Registered Ultrasound Technologist, RDMS

LOCATION: Radiology

JOB SUMMARY: Under the medical direction of the Radiologist(s) and Cardiologist(s) and the supervision of the Radiology Supervisor, this position requires the technologist to prepare equipment before patient exam, scan and send any paperwork needed for all exams in PACS system. Responsible for the safety and condition of the patients while they wait for examinations. Provides care for all patients.

This position requires for the U/S tech to be RDMS certified and able to perform all types of ultrasound exams. Also, certified in Cardiac (RDCS) or (RCS) or to be registry eligible and certified within one year from date of hire.
To perform all Ultrasound exams (Abdomen, Vascular, OB, and Cardiac) as needed on all inpatients, outpatients and ER patients. Other responsibilities will include: administer Definity for contrast studies, do bubble studies if needed. Echo stress tests using Treadmill or pharmaceutical.
Currently there is no call required, no Holidays and no weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program, registered in Ultrasound.
Experience in Ultrasound required.
