Job Summary: Core Responsibilities:

The Executive Director, provides strategic leadership and oversight of loan servicing operations, ensuring compliance with loan documents and regulatory requirements. Directs risk assessment, property performance analysis, and stakeholder communications. Oversees complex borrower requests and consent processes, engages with key external parties, and mentors team members to achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic oversight and resolution of complex customer requests and internal escalations, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
  • Lead the organization’s compliance function, ensuring all loan documents—including covenants—are rigorously monitored and that remedies for non-compliance are enforced across the portfolio.
  • Oversee the review and approval of borrower consent requests, facilitating coordination with securitization parties and other key stakeholders as required.
  • Direct the analysis and reporting of property performance, ensuring timely delivery of actionable insights to inform investment and asset management strategies.
  • Oversee property inspections and compliance audits, ensuring rigorous review, accurate analysis, and comprehensive reporting of findings.
  • Proactively identify portfolio risks, lead the assessment of investor exposure, and present risk mitigation strategies to senior leadership and investment committees.
  • Serve as a primary liaison with borrowers, special servicers, rating agencies, certificate administrators, and other critical internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide expert review and interpretation of complex loan and securitization documents, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance standards.
  • Demonstrate deep expertise in all facets of real estate transactions, including structuring, entity formation, property operations, and market analysis.
  • Deliver strategic recommendations on loan advances and key portfolio actions to executive management.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous professional growth.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 11 years of experience in Commercial Banking Portfolio Management, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.
  • 7 years management experience through direct or indirect structures
  • Experience in reviewing and analyzing commercial real estate loan documents and deal documents
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex loan documents and identify critical triggers.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage priorities efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Basic understanding of commercial banking processes and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational and administrative skills.
  • Skilled in managing sensitive information while upholding privacy.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
