ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute assignments in a safe manner and have a firm understanding of safety policies and procedures affiliated with facilities related work
- Coordinates and conducts projects related to 8020 cart and station engineering approved changes and retrofits
- Train Technician 1 associates on predictive / preventative maintenance of equipment and systems
- Conducts metal and wood fabrication, may include welding and milling
- Efficiently create basic equipment daily inspection standards, repairs / replaces Facilities Equipment that fails
- Navigates the Controls System to find Facilities Equipment System efficiently and find equipment data
- Conducts regulatory testing on fire pump and sprinkler visual PMs
- Systematically perform power recovery of the building
- Conducts operation, maintenance, tests, and repairs of mechanical, electrical and controls equipment, systems, and components
- Applies knowledge of electrical / electronic and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and mechanical support
- Applies skills in restoring equipment to operational status including but not limited to Electrical distribution, Air Compressors, Chillers, Vacuum pumps, Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer and HVAC
- Monitors Control System Overview to identify system problems such as jams, faults, etc.
- Assists with preventive / predictive maintenance of equipment and systems
- Responsible for maintaining safety guidelines, cleanliness and security standards
- Troubleshoots simple AC circuitry. Identifies and replaces blown fuses
- Identify and surface issues to leadership in a timely fashion
- Assist with basic metal and wood fabrication, may include saws and drills
- Comply and meet standard operating procedures
- Perform other duties and special project(s), as assigned by management
