Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and providing care in various healthcare settings such as nursing homes, medical offices, and hospice care facilities. CPR/First Aid helpful. Med Certification needed. Background less than 3 years old helpful.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs accurately
- Provide compassionate care to patients in hospice care, nursing homes, or medical offices
- Assist in dementia care for patients with memory-related conditions
- Maintain electronic health records using systems like Epic
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
Requirements
- Experience in medication administration and vital signs monitoring
- Familiarity with hospice care, nursing home environments, and medical office settings
- Knowledge of dementia care practices
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems like Epic
- Understanding of senior care needs and best practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
