Trinity Community Development Inc (TCDI) is a non-profit organization, operating from a neighborhood center property, focused on improving the quality of life in the Battle Creek, Michigan community.
We are seeking an executive director to promote, manage, and grow the organization. As a young organization, the emphasis is on community and program development to address the breadth of needs in the surrounding neighborhood. Fund raising, grant writing and communication are key to the growth of the organization. Working with other community organizations we seek to coordinate the delivery of services and assets to the people of the neighborhood. Administrative responsibilities include oversight of the daily operations, managing the annual budget, staffing, and overseeing the maintenance of the facility.
An applicant should possess the following qualifications: a self-starter, experience or openness to working with people in poverty, who are marginalized, have mental health challenges or are unhoused. A bachelor’s degree or 5 years experience in a community setting; participation in training and certification in abuse prevention, food safety, civil rights, mental health first aid, and trauma informed care.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week

- On call
