You’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth patient flow, assisting providers with procedures, and delivering respectful, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms and assist patients during visits.
- Collect and document patient history, vital signs, medications, allergies, and chief complaints in the EMR.
- Assist with in-office procedures, catheter care, specimen collection, and patient education.
- Process lab and diagnostic results, ensuring timely review and filing.
- Coordinate patient flow and collaborate with front desk staff to optimize scheduling.
- Support administrative tasks such as answering phones and scheduling appointments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant clinical experience.
- Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
- National Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus.
- CPR certification required.
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
